We are located in Clearwater and Kamloops, British Columbia.

We do not have a store front, all of our products are stored in a warehouse with sales available online. That being said, if you find yourself in Kamloops or Clearwater we would be happy to meet you.

Sometimes, you may find us at local festivals and events. In that case you will be able to try out demos and purchase gear in person.

You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping for any product you purchase from Pink Mountain Imports and we are happy to assist you in this process anyway we can.

Please note that these arrangements are entirely at your cost and responsibility. Waka Kayaks Western Canada and Pink Mountain Imports assumes no responsibility for any loss or shipping damages once your kayak has left our possession.

We do our best to keep our boat and gear prices as low as possible. To maintain this effort, we choose to only accept payment via e-transfer, cash and cheque.

For those who prefer to pay with credit card, we offer Paypal as an option. Paypal’s fee to doing business is a 3.8% charge. Because we feel it is best to charge less for boats in general, passing on this cost allows us to continue to do that.

Yes! We currently have a Tutea, Stout, OG, Steeze, Puffy Steeze, Goat, Billy Goat and Stoke for demo.

If you would like to demo a Waka kayak, please reach out and we will be happy to arrange something for you. We have also sold a few hundred boats around Western Canada – so if we are too far away, there could be someone with a boat near you who might not mind letting you check theirs out.

Demo Contract

Before we finalize our Waka Kayak order with the manufacturer, we offer a pre-order window to everyone. This allows you to put your name on the boat model, and colour of your dreams. That way when our container lands you are guaranteed to get exactly what you want.

Limited edition colours, Steezes with pods, Gangstas and other items are only available for pre-order. If you are hoping for one of these, please let us know so we can make sure you get exactly what you want.

For pre-order sales, a 50% down-payment is required to reserve your order selection.

Once your order has arrived to us you will be invoiced by email for the outstanding balance owing. The outstanding amount must be paid prior to delivery or pick up.

We order once per year – pre-orders fill up fast, so get in there!

Our fresh stock lands at the beginning of each year. The container is limited and most units are usually sold before it lands. If you have your heart set on a certain model and colour please contact us so we can get your name on a boat for the next round!

Get On It

We have a selection of Waka outfitting to replace damaged or worn out pieces. Our stock can become limited so we cannot guarantee we will have the exact piece you need. Send us an email with some photos and description of which pieces you are looking for of and we will hopefully be able to help you out.

Our demo boats are currently brand new and still have a few seasons left in them. However, if you are looking for a more affordable Waka, there are plenty of used ones out there. We would be happy to hep you in a seach for something just right, for you.

We only stock the Steeze without the Pod, so if you’d like the pod please pre-order.

Unfortunately due to their lack of Canadian Coast Guard Certification, we can no longer sell any model of Palm PFD. Don’t hesitate to reach out as we may be able to help you source one from a different retailer.

All materials are ROHS classified and thereby free of hazardous substances. The mesh is made from polyester and the silicone parts are made from skin safe, medical grade silicone.

To prevent this you should rinse your plugs in fresh water after each use or as often as possible. If the plugs have clogged up, you can place them in warm water (ca 40 deg C) and leave them in for an hour or two, which will dissolve the salt crystals. Rinse and hearability should be restored. To go one step further you can clean the mesh using a soft brush or cloth after having soaked the plugs in warm water which will eliminate any remaining salt crystals.

SurfEars are color-coded! Red is designed for the left ear and green for the right ear. When you use SurfEars for the first time it is recommended that you try them out in front of a mirror. The support wing is supposed to point to back end of the ear. When you have the plug in your ear it should look like this:

SurfEars tested with a lot of different people and found that this size combination is enough to fit most people’s ears. Please let us know if it doesn’t fit yours!
